I've had a crackling popping noise in my music+all sounds for the last few weeks since I ordered it.

I've changed pci brackets+ re-installed drivers.

I just received a replacement, and it's STILL doing it.

The only idea I have left is power supply: and ontop of that note, my titan has a lot of coil whine when it really starts to draw power, wondering if it's been my powersupply the entire time?

nvm Um could be a crappy PSU because unless you have really bad luck, its kind of amazing that you are having problems with BOTH things

Corsair Hx1050.  I've read some bad reviews lately, but when I bought it I didn't see very many bad reviews. And the people at fry's I bought it from said it was a very reliable psu.

That's a pretty good PSU. "crackling" could be caused by power fluctuations. It could be your house circuit or the power grid might not be supplying you with adequate voltage. Without adequate voltage your components will still function but they'll act up. Happened to me.

Protip, dont trust people in big box retailers, One tried telling me a atx mb could fit in a m-itx case. but ya the fact that it has bad reviews and sometimes, like rarely, if PSUs are a little load they will cause problems but usually just coil whine not these type of problems. so i doubt that thats the problem, it probably just a messed up PSU, get a antec PSU instead. they are one of if not the most reliable PSU brands

I have an 850w Seasonic in my latest build myself.  It was on sale.  Wait, when did this become about PSUs?

if it's a hiss, I might say it's a power issue, but if it's cracking/popping it isn't.

Will work for electronic components and parts
