two way gtx 970 or two way gtx 780

Doldey123

I'm doing my first build and I'm trying to decide between two way Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 GHz edition or two way Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 gaming

970 SLi is so much better. Never buy the GHz edition, its a waste of money.  G1 is fine though

Welcome to the forum! Please remember to follow your topics ;)

970s, they're better in every way. But what will you use it for, and what is the exact build? You most likely don't NEED sli 970s and maybe you're sparing too much on other components just to fit the two cards in.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I will be going with the two 970s to drive 3 1080p monitors in surround.

the GTX 970 is already about the same as a GTX 780, the G1 Gaming can compare the 780GHZ ed. I would rather you get the latest updated GTX970 G1 Gaming
