Hey guys. I just wanted to know if this was a good build for playing games like Arma III, CoD, Day Z, and CS:GO with good fps on highest resolution. I know I don't need 16gb of RAM but I would prefer to have it, and I know I don't need a 4tb HDD but I would feel more comfortable with it. I chose a 750W PSU so I don't have to purchase another one if I needed to upgrade. My budget is around $2,300 to $2,500. I know I have posted this before but I've made a few changes to the build. Thanks for the help.

2400 MHz memory won't help your performance any more than 2100 or 1866. Consider changing that to cut costs.

You may want to consider changing the case to a less expensive model, but the case is more personal than anything else so it is your choice.

Go with a single 4TB over 2 2TB HDDs unless you decide to use RAID 1 on them. Multiple HDDs will increase the likelihood of failure (more points of failure)

A single 970 will not be able to take full benefit of a 144Hz monitor, especially if you plan on playing games on maximum settings. A 120Hz or even 60Hz will be much more cost effective.

Unless you plan on doing content creation, the i7 isn't truly necessary. An i5 will work just as well in basically all modern games.

Using the money that you save on the above parts of your rig you may be able to squeeze in a 980.

I've built 3 PC's, but none for myself... In fact, I'm using an iMac that my dad bought for me as my desktop. Awkward...

Please don't say "SSD drive." By doing so, you are literally saying "Solid State Drive Drive" and causing my brain cells to commit suicide. The same applies to HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express).
