Hey guys, Im looking for a clean, nice looking case that dosnt have all the flamboyant stuff that some of these cases have.

Now, I want a window, so either it must have one, or be able to be modded, which most are I guess...

It needs to be black as my colour scheme is going to be black and blue.

Preferable metal brushed front panel OR really good plastic.

ALSO price must be under $150, or cheap as possible, and preferably from the PcCaseGear.com website, as I live in Australia.

Cases I have looked at are:

Corsair 200r - This is nice, but the front panel looks like shitty plastic

Bitfenix Shinobi - Eh looks alright

Thermaltake Urban S31 - This looks like the best one I have seen so far, Especially the brushed aluminium front panel and the little blue light at the top. But would that side panel be mod-able? There is foam...

Thanks for your help!

If youre willing to mod a window into a case, surely you can spray paint a few PCI brackets and replace a fan?

I'm just a soul who is up to no good.

And the Fractal Design R4

I personally like this. Fractal Design Arc Midi R2.

Nah I hate the mesh front on cases

That's exactly what I dislike about it as well! If not for that it'd be perfect! :(

Exactly, I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it had a black one :(

You had asked abou the 200R in your OP and yes it is shitty plastic, did a budget server build and threw it in one of those rather than like an antec 300, however feature wise for the price its hard to beat.

Okay guys, so I have narrowed it down to these 3:

Antex P280

p280_s.jpg

Thermaltake Urban S31

VP700M1N2Nss.jpg

CASE-FDR4-thbblk.jpg

As far as quality goes the antec is junk I've had the pleasure of playing around with a couple. I think if you left it in your car on a hot summer day half the case would melt.

I have no idea about the thermaltake, this is a case I am literally just finding out about after I saw there white one they unveiled at computex.

As far as fractal goes, there cases are nearly unparalleled in quality + design (If Silverstone and Lian Li would get there shit together I have no doubt they could make something on par though)

Nah I hate the mesh front on cases

Mesh in the front of cases wouldn't be so bad if they would ditch the damn 5.25 bays and make it seemless, maybe even support 120/140x3 (WHAT A CONCEPT) lol

Main Rig: i5 760 @ 4.0GHZ Asus p7p55d-e, 8GB Corsair Vengance @ 1600 Mhz. Samsung BX2231 X 3 (5760x1080)

                EVGA GTX 680 Superclocked +150/+500, 128GB Crucial M4, 1TB WD Black
