I am using a blue Yeti Microphone and i have some issues, A type of whine of some sort that is disrupting my streaming...

An audio file is composed below for your convenience

https://db.tt/KPJeIDyB

The interesting thing is when i plug it into a USB 3.0 port in the back on my main motherboard, Works great, But the only issue is it likes to disconnect and reconnect every 60 - 120 seconds... But if i plug it into a USB 3.0 in my case in the front the noise comes back...

I'm thinking it's interference through the cable that goes from the front of our case to the back. Are the drivers installed for USB 3.0 on your motherboard?

I know my Yeti prefers USB 2.0 ports.

If you have to i'd suggest moving the audio cable in your case as far away from the other cables.

The link isn't working for me. How long have you been using this microphone? If it is disconnecting every so often it sounds like driver issues. Usually in cases like this poor grounding can also be a fault, and the static sound is just the electricity itself coming from your wall outlet to your PC. If you have your PC up on a desk this could be the reason.

Of course i have my Desktop on a desk, Where else am i sapossed ot put it? on the carpeted floor? If you see someoen without there computer on a desk it's very unwise and uncommon to not have it on a desk away from Carpet, Static, ect.

Optimally yes, nothing wrong with keeping your desktop on the floor or at least making sure you have proper isolation. Because the thing with having a computer and microphone on a desk is that sometimes fans and whirring hard drives from the computer will create vibrations for the surrounding area, even if you think they aren't. I have a home recording studio, and I keep my computer on a desk, but this very reason is why I keep my microphones suspended or on shock mounts which exist for a reason. Anyone else who does professional recording will tell you the same thing.

That's why I asked if you keep your computer on the desk, because the USB Blue Yeti microphones are desk microphones. Can you answer how long you've had this microphone? I am assuming you just bought it. All in all it sounds to me like you've installed faulty drivers (reinstall), and your front panel USB connection is poor (try reconnecting the front panel connector to the pins of your motherboard).

And don't be ridiculous, there is no ESD from the carpet that can get into your chassis.

I have had this mic for about a year now with not a single issue, But the is not without any troubles, I have moved the dek itself ( Big L Shaped Desk ) at least 5 times and inbetween rooms as well, And now it's back in it's proper place and as far as i know ( never checked ) i did not have this issue, But i have FOR THEM OST PART ( Decresing the sound by at least 60% ) by plugging it into the USB 3.0 after updating the Drivers in the Rear I/O so i can only hope that by when i am streamign the game sounds will muffle or completly overlap the anoying sound.

But i still want to get rid of it completly so i am 100% satisfied, And thew link does in fact work by the way.

This sounds weird but it may help to ground your PC by connecting a wire to an screw at the back of your case. Connect the wire to an Wall plug or something that is grounded.

This helped me 5 years ago to get rid of humming from my USB Headset (speakers, not mic).

sounds like it would work but also sounds like if an electrical surge happened it would not only shock me but also my system and anything in the vicinity, Is there a possible proper tutorial of some sort for this?

I connected it to one of these. There's no power on the ground. But I guess you have different wall plugs right? ^^
