Good cable routing options

Go to solution Solved by wiwling,

Twist or zip ties works for me :3

I have a lot of wires coming from the back of my computer and since a few of those wires are longer they tend to get suspended in mid-air where my leg will get tangled in them a lot. Are there any cheap but effective cable routing options that I could use to keep my desk/ the underside of my desk tidy?

All the parts are here, just need to get customized cords to connect the motherboard to the front panel.

duct tape, literally it works good and its as cheap as you can get, any other options would depend on your desk like if you have bars or beams you can use zip ties with or if you can nail stuff into the bottom of it or if oyu want your cables mounted on the wall. but if it is out of sight i still say duct tape.

How much is cheap? I found a really nice looking cable routing box on amazon for around 17 bucks. I would go for that, just because of how elegant the solution is. But I'm really "OCD" about cable management, so I would have a hard time trying not to buy something like this. I have in the past used rubber bands rapped a few times around a bundle of cables, and that works for the most part if you plan on leaving your cables alone for a long time.

Not the most cheap product I've seen, but this seems to fit your description.

I have that one under my desk and it is literally the worst thing i ever bought from Ikea.

It is barely big enough to fit 5 cables across. I would go with some zip ties if you don't plan on moving the cables.
