Which should i get?

This is my current motherboard: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2932738&CatId=7248

 

I was considering either upgrading to an asus formula board or getting an Samsung 840 pro 256gb SSD

 

Which should I get? Which do I need more? My current mothboard doesn't support sata 3 nor does it support the most recent socket type for AMD.

 

Suggestions?

My rig: Case: Corsair 760T CPU: Intel 4690k MOBO: MSI Z79 Gaming 5 RaM: 16gb HyperX SSD: 256gb Samsung pro HDD: 1tb Toshiba PSU: Thermaltake smart 750 GPU: 1x GTX 1080 Founders edition

Oh god dat color scheme, oh god why...

However just changing motherboards you wont notice a difference with the same cpu. if you get an ssd, even if your mb doesnt have sata 3 then you will notice a huge difference ( if you dont already have an ssd )

I'd say to get the SSD now and you can upgrade the mobo at a later date if you so choose to.
