does rolling back to an older driver fix the issue?

So im on the latest not so greatest Nvidia driver 344.11 and it keeps crashing my games plus makes my games stutter... 

 

Is this happening to anyone else?

I'm running a pair of GTX670 in one rig, and a GTX580 in another with 340.52 WHQL and I've had no bad experience. Perhaps you should roll back to this WHQL driver.

nvidia drivers are flawless, this is blasphemy.

 

 

but, you could try doing a fresh install of the driver to wipe any erroneous settings.

I certainly do hope you were either joking, or being sarcastic. I run both AMD and nVidia cards, and drivers from both, while being good most of the time, are far from being perfect.

I have been getting a directx error code when i tried to downsample bf4 from 4k and sometimes league of legends will do it if I down sample that from 4k, I have settled on 1440p so I don't crash that anymore. I reformatted my computer trying to get rid of any possibility of my old 7970 driver causing this, did not fix. I did not roll back my driver though, I am planning on trying that.

Are you overclocked or using Nvidia Inspector? are the cards overheating and lower voltage causing instability? (my gtx980 drops my voltage by 25mv when over 68 degrees - not exactly over heating but definitely affects my maximum overclock)

No to both... My card is at 38C ( house is 72F)

 

Yah rolling back worked fine Guess im waiting till the next update...
