Hi.

I am going to do my second attempt on making my machine into a hackintosh.

My specs are as follows:

MSI M-Power z77

Intel Core i7 2600

Zotac GeForce GTX 780

Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz RAM (8GB)
Couple of SSDs and a couple of HDDs.

I am running a custom BIOS on my motherboard.
I tried following this guide for installing OS X with the MSI M-Power.

Last time I managed to boot and install, but once inside OS X I could not find any drivers and all animations were stuttering.

I was not patient enough and gave up.

I will be posting my progression here once I start my second attempt.

I´d like to add that I am very new to this. I do not know much about kernels and all of that.

I have one question: How large does my USB-stick have to be? The one I put Yosemite on.

Well I am no expert about Hackintoshing, but as we speak, I am typing this on a newly hackintosh Yosemite machine that took me over a day to figure out what the issue was.

To start off, this website http://www.tonymacx86.com/home.php will be your best friend and will most likely give you a general idea of what to do.

Secondly, do you have a Mac or a virtual machine of a mac that you can get access to, to create a bootable installer

Thirdly, the USB I have that contain Yosemite and previously Mavericks is 8GB
