Hey guys, planning a budget build for a family member. Would like to hear your opinions :)

 

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K

 

Motherboard:  ASUS Z97-P

 

RAM: Crucial DDR3 BallistiX Sport 1600MHz 8GB

 

(Cpu, motherboard and ram comes as a package).

 

GPU: Gainward GTX 770

 

SSD: Kingston HyperX Fury 120Gb

 

HDD: WD Black 500Gb

 

PSU: XFX ProSeries XXX Edition 750W

 

Case: CM 690 iii w/window

 

OS: Windows 7 64bit Home Premium

 

Screen: BenQ Led RL2455HM

 

Keyboard: CM Strorm Quickfire TK Brown switches

 

Mouse: Corsair M65 RGB w/trampstamp

Sorry mate! The budget is 12 000kr = 1850$ Gonna be used for gaming :)

personally I would go for windows 10 because its free (the preview anyway) and dual 970 just add a case and monitor

It will be Windows 7 os. Hated Windows 8 and wont take the risk on Windows 9 oh yeah thats right... ment Windows 10! :P

 

well that doesn't sound like a budget build but more like a build with a budget of 1800$ +/-

A single 980 is cheaper than 2 970s BTW

 

Come up with a new build based on your suggestions, a little more expensive tough.

Alright, the ssd can be swapped, but the gpu becomes more expensive... maybe. Otherwise this is a good build?
