Project Christine was SOOOO stupid, just like every Razer product.

I'm sorry but I've to agree with Mistersprinkles, those type of cases have already been around for years.

Thermaltake level10, anyone?

Sold old RIG for Asus ROG GL550JK-CN414H.

I'm happy with it thanks Linus.

You're wrong. TTL10 is totally different. It uses standard parts. Christine uses "modules" which plug into a PCIE/power/mineral oil system. The whole system is modular. New drive? New drive module. New GPU? New GPU module. New CPU? New CPU module. All cooled by mineral oil.

Totally stupid. Totally totally stupid.

Intel Inside. Overweight guy in his 30's outside.

Eh, i didn't think it was that bad.

The oil cooling is just asking for trouble, but the modularity isn't too bad i didn't think

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

Was razer really stupid enough to think that OEMs would produce parts for this monstrosity>?

The i8 is great! There's one in the Beemer dealers in town, but I've yet to go and fawn over it, as I haven't been that way for a bit.

Oil Cooled: SlickPC Mark II panyone? anyways, think about how complicated it would be for OEMs to make parts just to make them more "simple" for this design. Anyway, it would cost a ton to develop, and imagine the Intel/AMD/Nvidia wars if they all made parts for it...

It's a good idea still being worked on.

I was also wondering where this and the Edge 2014 went.

how much would these swappable parts cost (since they have to be in an enclosure)? and how would swap the mobo?

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Honestly I feel like Razer gets a bad wrap from most people. I have had my Razer Deathadder for 4.5 years and have never had a problem with it. Razer seems like the only 'gaming' company that's willing to experiment and try new things with their R&D as opposed to ThemalTake, and Coolermaster, and Corsair, and a bunch of other companies who have only started making new products in new categories because they saw that other companies were doing well with it. Razer's Blackwidow was one of the first more mainstream mechanical keyboards. Steelseries 6G doesn't count, they don't have the rep or the money to have really made a big impact. This coming from someone who's currently typing on a 6Gv2.

Razer's CEO is constantly pushing his R&D team with new ideas and simply trying things. If they become real products, great, but a lot of stuff they've done hasn't, but they still do quite well.

Project Christine was a cool proof of concept, but unless most companies suddenly jump on board to a new standard, its not going to happen.
