24 pin help!

Ive been trying to get the 24 pin cable to go into my motherboard but it wont fit. The latch seems to be a few mm's away from actually clicking in, so what do i do?

is it a faulty cable or am i doing something wrong?

What @spwath said. If you don't feel like utterly bending your motherboard beyond its standoffs, take it out of the cause and put in the 24pin first.

ive tried doing that and it still wont go

What psu do you have? I know the RM series can be hard to get in and out....

i have the RM650 and it definitely the right way

Its just an issue with the RM series. I have an RM650 myself, and the 24pin atx and 8pin cpu connectors are both tough to get in and out.
