RAM HELP?

IS your OS 32 bit or 64 bit? 32 bit uses only up to 4 gb.

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

so i just put together a gaming rig and everything seems to be fine except the ram, It says8 gigs are installed ehich it is, but only 3.97 is usable. PLEASE HELP

Did you install a 32bit OS? If you want to be able to use all 8GB you have to patch the windows kernel or install x64.
