Good day/afternoon/night.

I recently built a new rig

OS: Win7 64

CPU: Intel i3-4330  3.5ghz/ stock cooler

Mobo: Asus h97-plus

PSU: Thelmartake tr2 500w

GPU: gtx 750 ti ( overclocked a bit/ gpu clock 1190mhz~memory 6600mhz )

RAM: 2   4gb dimms kingston hyperx blu 1333

My concern is when i use hwmonitor it says my mainboard, auxtin1,2 and 3 temperatures are 100+ Celsius but when i check my BIOS it says 36 Celsius, is anything wrong? oh btw i dont get  cpu throttling nor gpu ( checking with afterburner ) and when i touch my case it doesnt feel burning hot.\

Thanks for your time, have a good day.

Your motherboard would be melting if it was running that hot (not really, but you get my drift).

It's just HWMonitor acting up, or your mainboard doesn't have a sensor at all, so it spits out that ridiculous number. Don't worry about it. Go with what your BIOS tells you.

(edited adding a mobo picture )Thanks for the reply, my mobo manual says that it does have temp sensors, so it just HWmonitor going wild on me? i also tested speedfan and gave me the same results 100+ Celsius

Yes that's a bug. It doesn't make sense. You would have to put it in a bbq to reach those temps.

Hey ivryk,

As the guys mentioned, it's a glitch of HWMonitor. Once I noticed my MOBO operating at around 240C so I checked BIOS temps before getting the bacon and eggs from the fridge.

I would always trust BIOS data (temps, voltage, wattage, etc.) before OS programs.
