I had Gigabyte's 760 and it wasn't able to maintain 60+ fps at all times at high preset at 1080p. With a lot of action on screen it would drop to 50/45. But I've seen many complaints about the performance in general lately.

I'd go with the 770. You might even be able to mix it with some ultra settings, depending on the map and game mode you play.

I saw a 770 the other day for around the same price that 760's were when they were new, I'd see if you could find a 770 for around ~220-270$ and get one of those.

I'd go with an R9 280 it's a better card for the budget of around $200. Has an extra gig of VRAM, similar or better performance, has Mantle for the ability to catch a few extra fps.

So are you set for everything else in the build/budget? Might be able to find something else, especially if you're mainly gaming.

Agreed on this. BF4 is AMD-sponsored and their GPUs perform a little better than comparable Nvidia hardware, but the R9 280 is faster in most other games as well. You should be able to find an R9 280 for about the same price as a GTX 760.

Hey so I am planning to build a PC to play battlefield 4 on and I am planning on getting the EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB ACX Video Card. I would like to be able to play at high setting at 1080p at 60+ fps. Is this solid or should I upgrade to the 770?

the r9 280 is a superior gpu, but for the performance you require i'd suggest stepping it up to the r9 280x which can run ultra 60 fps.
