skip the keyboard for now, just get a cheap membrane one for $10 and get this http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/sydney-city/software/windows-8-1-professional-for-1pc/1059274614 then you will have an extra $235 for a better graphics card.

 

Edit: oh and get a WD Black or Blue, not Green.

 

Edit again: If you get a cheaper case you could probably add in an SSD, which would be really worth it.

Hi my name is Jayden, I'm 15 from Australia and I am wanting to make my first build. I would rather keep the cost of the pc as low as possible, but I would also want to play the latest games with ease at high graphics. A couple of my mates helped me out a little bit. I am basing my build at PC Case Gear.

 

I've updated my cart down below. I want to keep it under $2000. I changed the motherboard and the HDD, I want to keep the power supply as it is. I also don't want an SSD for now. I like this water cooling system as it will look amazing when it is done. Please tell me you thoughts on this build

Never get WD Green HDD, get Seagate SSHD instead.

Get 1866mhz ram version, get the maximus VII Hero, get EVGA FTW version of GTX 750 Ti 2 GB,

He says he want to get the cost as low as possible, since he's building this rig for gaming, I don't see him spending that much on storage.

thanks guys for you input, my budget is under $2000 and I will change the hard drive to black. I don't want an SSD for now, although it will be on my mind in the future.

 

I've never mucked around with an SSD before and if I don't I'll never know what i'm missing out on, therefore i'll never regret not buying one.
