Which GTX 980?

asim1999

Gwtting ripped off as my GTX 980 (reference) hasnt arrived yet after 2 weeks. If i am gonna spend the extra money over what i originally purchased, might as well get a non-reference model?

So which one- was looking at the MSI Twin Frozr V as it matches my build very well.

The only issue is that the GPU does not have a backplate and my noctua d14 fans may touch it slightly but not fully rest on it. will it matter if it doesnt have a backplate?

if the fans rest on it its fine but if the fin array does than it is not also if you want backplate  strix or gigabyte are your best options
