Ram slot priority

Hello guys and girls!

i'm looking for a new cpu cooler. and i really like the Noctua Nh-u14s.

But i have a problem. it blocks the first ram slot on my motherboard. i can move the ram no problems, but what about the prioritisation of the ram slots. It's shown in this picture http://www.asus.com/websites/global/products/rgUoVLEGwnM3NTF2/img/hp/overview/overview-n1.jpg (i know it's an LGA2011-v3 socket)

My motherboard is a  LGA1150 Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC with a i7 4770k   http://cdn.overclock.net/4/4b/4ba43458_33062499.jpeg

Does it matter?? Is the board going to priorities a certain ram slot over another one, or am i going to be just fine??

Doesn't matter which slot RAM is placed as long as you have them in the right slots to run in dual/quad channel.

No, it doesn't matter. If you have 2 sticks, just put them in the slots with the same colour.
