Ok so after constantly looking and asking for advice and going over it again and again I would like some final input on my build here. This is going to be used for gaming/streaming/slight if any editing

What I already have:

HAF X case

HDD

Opti Drive

OS

What I put together - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/KwrpVn

Also I couldnt find the PSU in part picker so here is that - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010

One other item I am looking at getting is a New Monitor so a suggestion on that would be great. Thank you very much

Looks pretty good to me honestly there's nothing I would really change.

As far as the monitor goes I'd this build for gaming or any editing or professional work? Do you prefer to have the faster response times of a TN panel, or the slower more accurate colors and viewing angles of an ips display?

What's the budget for the monitor?

Also with the cooling. Ive conflicted on the Liquid VS Air. I was looking at the Noctua and others but still unsure when it comes to this any suggestions?

Air coolers will be quieter and offer similar performance if you get something like the BeQuiet Dark Rock 3 Pro or Noctua D15.

I would change your psu for a EVGA Supernova G2 750W. The warranty is a bit longer (10 years) and it has hybrid fan mode.

Oh sweet thanks. Im trying to find a solid Monitor. Now most of what I play is WoW but I dabble in shooters and other MMOs. From what I have been reading IPS is the way to go for games like that, I dont need a huge refresh rate since Im not playing those shooters competitively. You have any suggestions?

Also looking to go 1440p

If your budget is $200 as mentioned above, then I think a 1440p is out of reach. The cheapest 27" 1440p on pcpartpicker is $369.99.

Im actually raising my budget on that a bit, I saved a good amount by switching some parts around so Im looking for a 1440p monitor.

I would look at something like the Asus PB278Q for a quality 1440p IPS. You can get cheaper Korean ones such as the Qnix QX2710 which is a PLS panel, although I don't know much about them.

There is a brief review here though:

Was looking at the Asus as well. The 970 should have no issues with this as far as I have read

A single 970 will give you good frame rates on most games. Plus you can always stick another 970 in later on.

This review gives some benchmarks for 1440p

Would it not make more sense to hold off on the 1440 until he has enough cash for the ROG Swift? This is why i always recommend a cheap (but not shit) 23'' or 24'' 1080 IPS monitor. Just something to tide them over until they get something great. Monitors are not just peripherals after all, they're investments.

The Asus PB278Q is a quality Monitor though. I think once the G-Sync monitors come down in price then they are a good investment, but at the moment they are hugely expensive. The G-Sync is a very nice monitor, but the IPS is better value at the moment, and it is a very good gaming monitor as seen in the review above. Also AMD have Freesync which is supposedly out Q1 2015 so that will hopefully see a price war  :)

Its not that I dont have the cash for it, it's just that Im trying to see what is best for me. As in "Do I really need that monitor for the games I play?" Just like my build I don't need something crazy thats why Im not going crazy with it

Could you spend about $60 for a TB drive for your Steam library? I guess if you only play one AAA title and then indie games in between queues then that drive will be fine. But if you have a Steam library, I suggest getting a TB hard drive.

1 TB $54

2 TB $83

Forget I said this. I'm dumb...
