Hey guys and gals,

I've spent some time googling this and found a few forums with this question but no good solution. Since I know this community is good with tech problems I wondered if anyone had any third-party programs or solutions that could make switching nvidia surround on and off easier without having to configure it every time.

Thanks for your help

@BellamyCraft Nope.

It sucks. I've spent the last few days getting this acceptable to my levels, though I had more problems since my non-surround setup involves two portrait monitors so changing the resolutionon 3 monitors was problematic.

My "solution": DisplayFusion profiles. I set up hotkeys to change between profiles which included the position of my wallpapers, icons and the like.

When I enable surround I just don't configure it, as soon as the resolution has changed I press cancel and don't worry with bezel correction. Once it loads, DisplayFusion automatically detects I only have one monitor and sets up the background and taskbars and the like, and splits it up to be useable.

On disabling it, I simply press the hotkey which fixes my resolutions and wallpapers for portrait.

But for the actual turning it on and off, it remains a sort of nightmare.

So you want disable surround and keep all three active and be able to switch it back and not have to configure it?

I know the hot key works fine with turning surround on/off with out configuring for me but it just go down to one monitor when off.

Yes I would like it to switch between surround and standard triple monitor extended. Without having to configure it. Which hotkey are you referring to?
