What was performance like?

I had the N600 version of the TP-Link and it worked very well for a few months then died. No problems with the Asus so far and it's been almost 2 years

Black PCB other than the actual wireless adapter, which is green, but it's on the bottom so you will probably never see it.

What was performance like?

 

From about 40 feet from my router, behind two walls I get just as fast of speeds as I get via an ethernet cable.

I used the Asus USB-AC56. No problems with connection. It is usb 3, and came with an extension cable for better positioning. I have since ran a 100 foot ethernet along the outside of my house for better connection (I moved my pc even farther from my router) but it was trusty and dependable while it was in service.
