Each 970 uses 8.

 

8 + 8 = 16

 

All PCIe lanes used up, none available for WiFi card

Wouldn't pc part picker come up with that as a problem?

Well it's a thing. I've never used more PCIe lanes then what's available so I don't know what will happen if you put two GPUs and a WiFi card but maybe @PokémonTrainerFour can fill you in. It's getting late and I'm going to sleep
