I have a 4 day weekend off so pretty much yes

Also might wanna get some aftermarket fans for that H105. The stock ones are quite loud under load

Haha I do too, sorry for posting this so much my ocd requires me to be a perfectionist and everything must be approved

if you want an asus board so bad at least get a z97

don;t get 970 SLI, get a 980 and save up for a second one down the road

The 4790K doesn't have enough PCIe lanes for SLI AND a network adapter though, you'll have to go X99 or get a board with wireless (pretty sure some ASUS boards do that)

lol

Adding to what @thekeemo I would get a copy of Windows 8.1 from G2A and use it as a somewhat legit temporary OS until Windows 10 hits the shelves

You'd think that after three hours there would be different people to judge my build.

As awkward as it may seem I'd rather save some money and go for an AMD build since you're editing and rendering, cause a few years later you'll have a lot more money to shell out on a new rig with the latest components that will whoop a lot more ass and could be adapted to your (possibly different) needs later on

Honestly I make a minimal amount of content so I really wouldn't need an AMD setup huh.

Nope, I'm gonna keep it though. It's kind of like buying an apple product. People buy it to say that they have an apple product

Ngl if I had to use an apple product I would be ashamed that I'm using an apple product

On topic though, not worth the money for a fancy motherboard and i7. When you work for the cash you'll realize how much that money you save is worth, but for now it's your PC, so your choice.

Still though, it's around $100 more to get the i7. For that you could be getting better fans, a bigger SSD, a better monitor, etc.

One thing I'd definitely say you should change though is to a USB based WiFi adapter, since with two GPUs you'll be using up all the available PCIe lanes

But don't wireless adapters use pci express?
