Dolphin VR not working properly

I have the current dolphin vr i could find and have the oculus runtime the latest to this date. I do not have a dk2 yet but am hoping to order it tonight hopefully. I have tried it and its only using full screen, I have everything setup as shown online but it wont display the two eye part. Do I need a oculus rift in order this part to work or no? thanks for the help in advanced

I believe you need to oculus box top as it will mirror the output of the headset onto the monitor. Also you should order it now because the average wait time is 2.5 months.
