Asus H81M-A

i have  friend trying to build a budget gaming build for mmorpg gaming like LoL,  He's asking me if he purchsed this motherboard (Asus H81M-A) and updated the Bios will he be able to overclock the  G3258 to play LoL.

 

I'm not sure if it work or not so I thought I'd get advice from you guys.

 

this is his intended build

 

Case: Sharkoon T28

CPU: intel G3258

MoBo: Asus H81M-A

Ram: G.Skill RipjawsX 1600MHz 8GB(2x4GB)

GPU: MSI R9-270 Gaming 2GB

Storage: WD 1TB Blue /64MB/EZEX/7200

PSU: Seasonic 520W M12-II-520

 

Questions

 

Can the CPU be oced on that board?

 

will the GPU be bottlenecked?

 

is th PSU enough?

With the correct bios update: Yes, but it requires a haswell in the first place

 

GPU shouldn't bottleneck

 

PSU should be fine
