Best graphics card to buy for 600$ AUD

Hello i'm in the market for a new graphics card for when far cry 4 gets released, and i was thinking of getting a high end graphics card.

So my first question is which is better to buy the options are.

I was thinking of either getting a GTX 970 or an 780 ti seeing as they are around the same price, is the gaming experience much better with a GTX 980?

I mostly play BF4 and Metro redux but i'm want to be able to play far cry 4 when it comes out on ultra settings.

My second question is that I have a pretty shitty and i'm wondering if I get a new graphics card will my system bottle neck the performance.

I have

i5 3470 3.20Ghz

Asus mini Itx P8H77-I mother board

8GB of RAM

at the moment I have a GT 630 graphics card

600w power supply

Should I also start upgrading the parts in my computer and which should I start with first and what should I upgrade to.

If anyone has any answers that would be greatly appreciated.

Miles

970: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-strixgtx970dc2oc4gd5

290: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvr929oc4gd

The performance of the two is pretty similar with the 970 being MUCH more efficient.

If you are gaming at 1080p than a 970 will handle anything you throw at it at Ultra, don't worry. :)

Besides the point. Did you underclock your 3570K from the base 3.4GHz?

Gigabyte G1 GTX 970,

Reasons

 1. Lower TDP more power effecent  a great overclocker

2. Ready for Direct X12 and better grapics handling for older games

3. most value for money and most up to date

4. 4GB Vram compared to most that are 2GB/3GB

no I didn't it is only a 3470 not a 3570k maybe that explains it?

I think the GTX 970 will be the best performing card for it's price, get the 980 if you want that extra 10% in performance.

Mainly the grossly high clock speed.  It took JayzTwoCent's breath away when he ran the overclock.
