Hello,

My friend brought a CyberPowerPC few months ago and it just power cycles every time you turn it on.

Turns on, then off, repeat.

I tried looking into it and I can't seem to know what the problem is. (Probably because its prebuilt with sh*tty parts)

Do you guys have any ideas?

I have tried a different power supply, replacing the thermal compound of the stock cooler.

Thanks.

Alex

My first guess after looking at the provided information would be the motherboard is the issue. You can try resetting the BIOS first(worked for my motherboard when I had some issues), and if that doesn't work, get a replacement system or motherboard. Also, is the power coming from the wall finicky? If so, try a different wall socket. That may also be the issue.

Thanks for the reply.

I will tell him about resetting the BIOS tomorrow. Power should be fine, we did try different outlets and power cords.

Hopefully I can get back to the thread sometime.
