Wii HD

Trouble Kelp

I have a wii and I want to use HD and I found to types of HD converters an HDMI and a component which is better video quality? and Dose Wii support surround sound?

The Wii doesn't support HD. It supports Component, but only 480p.

Correct. There is no official accessories or support for this.

However, they are upscale (480p to 1080p) unofficial accessories, but I never tried it.

The problem is if you play GameCube game, some are not progressive, so the image will be blurry,  depending on the converter you buy.

 

Now the upscaling is a direct one, much like the playing a Wii game on the WiiU. It won't do what Wii emulator can do, where you have enhanced upscaling:
