Since the Maxwell cards arrived, I've been torn on whether or not I should drop money on a GTX 980 to replace my 2 way SLI 770s. The benches come pretty close matching the setup, and I know two 980s will trounce my platform. So is buying a 980 worth it? or should I wait until what AMD does with its new lineup and wait for nVidia's response?

Personally I'd wait a bit because a lot of the aftermarket coolers are pretty expensive or out of stock at the moment and just to see what amd offer.
