Display causing random crashes, need help quick!

So to start with, my build is only about 2-3 weeks old, brand new parts.

This particular error has been occurring since day one, and I have had no time to rectify it.

Whenever I watch a video or view a page with multiple graphics, and it even does it when loading a page sometimes, the screen will start to flicker with little lines, generally on the right side of the screen. Sometimes the computer will work for hours on end with no problems, other times it will just shut off the display withing 2 seconds of loading a web browser, forcing me to do a hard reset.

It has even caused 10 bluescreen's since it was built

I think it's just a faulty graphics card, I really hope it is, because I can't afford it to be a CPU or Mobo problem right now.

These are my specs:

CPU: Intel core i7-4790K

Mobo: MSI Z97 Gaming 7

RAM: Corsair Vengence (2x4GB)

Graphics Card: XFX AMD R9 290

PSU: Cooler Master V850

Monitor: ASUS VG248QE

I will include some pictures and videos to help with what I'm dealing with.

I really need help on this fast, this is seriously impeading on my Uni work.

Thanks in advance

Download bluescreenview and it will tell you what files triggered the BSOD. 99% sure it's your GPU though.

after looking at the files, the vast majority seems to be coming from the Graphics card, most of them saying that the AMD driver is the culprit... but that doesn't make sense, When I updated to the latest AMD catalyst drivers (14.9) from 14.4 the problem was still there, I guess it is a hardware fault with the card, something just isn't running properly.

You said it's been happening since day1 regardless of the drivers. Pretty sure your R9 290 has bad VRM. I'd suggest RMA'ing it.
