How to get rid of buzzing noise from HD558

creativename

I plugged my HD558 into my monitor, and then I use Nvidia's driver to use my monitor as the audio output, but when nothing is playing the headphone makes buzzing noises. How do I get rid of it. What is the buzzing noise?

Same thing happens when I plug it into a sound card or the onboard sound.

That's called noise.

Plug the headphones directly into the motherboard and see if that stops it.
