My name is Kim Thore and i am from Norway.

 

PS!: My english isn't top notch, so try to keep up with me.

 

I've allways loved PC, and everything around it. The way it runs, the different ways you can go to make it your own.

So i finally though to myself, I will make a custom case! And this is what i've come up with!.

 

The color scheme will be black and green, as you might have guessed allready from the title.

 

The case i will be modding is a Corsair 230T.

Theres 3 different versions of this case, black/graphite and orange.

And the case also comes with a window on the sidepanel, wich i might wanna put some film on to make it alittle toned.

The case i am gonna be modding on, is the graphite version since i got a really good deal on it.

 

The computer parts is not clear yet, but i will be getting a Z87 G1.Sniper from Gigabyte, since theres really no other motherboards with a green scheme.

The graphics card is gonna be a GTX970 and i will be upgrading to SLi later this year.

The power supply will probably be a CM or Corsair 750W+ with green or black sleeved cables.

When it comes to the ram im not sure yet! I'll probably go for HyperX Fury 1866MHz 16GB in black and put them in the black slots,

so the green slots pop out alittle. And i think those are actually the right slots anyway.

My cpu cooler will be the Cooler Master 212 Evo in the start, so i guess ill try and mod or atleast make it a custom 212.

I will also swap out the blue LED fans in the front of the case, for some green LED cooler master ones.

Usb 3.0 ports are blue, wich doesn't fit my build. So i will try to make these green somehow, maybe plasti dip will do the trick.

 

Heres a really fast photoshopped picture, of how i think i want it to look like.

I will be updating when i get the parts i need! Peace out.

 

 

 

NB!: This build is put on hold for now, can't get the parts i want and i won't start until i got them all.

I will be updating the site, as soon as i get the parts needed for the guild.

Why not Corsair Vengeance green?

They also come in a PWM version so you could put one on the Hyper 212 as well. Also plasti dip the top of the cooler tower black, it will look amazing

What do you mean? The ugly military case or the actuall ram? we don't have any green vengeance ram where i live.

Yeah ive heard of those, but not easy to get where i live, sadly They are gonna be really expensive if i want to get them shipped to me

Yeah the RAM. Only issue is it might be a slightly different grade of green.

Haha.. sorry, me personally don't like that case. But that doesn't mean you can't like it;) Different tastes, thats what makes the world so great.

Ha, no problem. I wanted the black version of this case, but they didn't have it at my local store, so I just picked this one up instead, it's a really dark shade of green so it doesn't bother me.
