Unlocked android phones in Toronto

Hello everyone,

 

I am kind of new to Canada and I started living in Toronto last year. Just wanted to ask where can I get unlocked android phones here? As far as I understand only sony phones are unlocked since they have their own stores here.

Can anyone help?

Negri electronics sell unlocked cell phones I believe. (Out of business...)

Pretty sure you can get any phone unlocked if you buy them off-contract, like the chinese mafia did with the iPhone.

Pretty hard to find unlocked phones, even at the Sony Style stores, I'm pretty sure you have to sign up for a contract.

Thanks guys I figured amazon might be the best way to get an unlocked phone too, but as a Turkish person  It's really weird to me that tech stores like best buy and future shop sells locked phones. It just doesn't make sense to me...

What's your phone Brand and model?

You can get the unlock code for your phone from any third party online vendors like Mobile-Unlocker.com and unlock your phone from Network lock easily.
