New CPU causing game issues?

Hi Guys, I have recently upgraded my CPU from i5-2320 to an i7-4770k and I couldn't be happier although every time I play ArmA 3 multiplayer I get 6fps or lower until my inevitable crash.  With my old CPU I was getting like 9-20 (which is why I upgraded in the first place) and others who have the same chip experience an FPS of 40 and upwards on the same servers. I also bought an SSD and made that my boot drive, so I think I may have forgot to install a driver or something which is causing these issues but all my other games seem to work flawlessly with much better performance than my old setup.  All in all I'm just really confused and I'd like to think someone could help clear this up for me.

System:

i7-4770k CPU

MSI Z87-G45 MOBO

GTX 680 GPU

CX750 PSU

Thanks, Builder.

Will that affect anything else other than drivers?

no, just if your bios has setting in it for a different cpu it might not be working perfectly, so it best to essentially "reset" the bio

ok, and apart from video drivers are there any other drivers I may need?

You might want to check if chipset has been updated. Check also your CPU usage during gaming session.
