Anybody with advice or a name for my build should post here, but no heavy criticism as i am only 13 and i want to make my own decisions. My budget is USD$2250, but I may save a couple hundred bucks on Black Friday. I plan to overclock this computer as far as 4.75GHz. I plan to use this computer for gaming, photo editing, website creating, web surfing, and chatting with other people, the last two are everyday and i use less power, like shutting off the graphics card and limiting CPU performance.

this is probably the only place i'll hang out anymore: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/274320-the-long-awaited-car-thread/

Looks really good, 2 things:

1. I'd get a Corsair Vengeance K95, just something newer and better.

2. You probably won't be running an overclock of 4,75 GHz, rather something like 4,5 with a 4770k

Current Rig:    AMD FX 8350 @ 4.3GHz | Xigmatek Dark Knight Night Hawk Edition | ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z | ASUS AMD Radeon HD7950 | 16GB Corsair Vengeance Red 1866MHz RAM

EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750 Watt PSU | 2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM | 128GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD | ASUS DVD Writer | CM Storm Trooper Windowed Edition

Peripherals:    BeyerDynamic Custom One Pro | Func MS3 | Steelseries QcK | Corsair Vengeance K70 Cherry MX Brown (on release)

ok then  so i can only go up to 4.5 GHz only?

also, the K95 is out already? I didn't see it on Corsair.com, however, but how is it better than the K90 then?

The 4770k runs up above 90 degrees on an h100i @4.6ghz.

You're shooting for a 4.4-4.5 ghz here.

Also, the maximus is a waste of money. Haswell has integrated voltage control that should make it so any z87 board should overclock well.

The dominators are also a waste of money. Ram is ram. Get the cheapest CL9 1600's you can find that fits your theme. Your build is over budget as is.

With a budget like yours , you could fit a 780 in there. Don't run 770 triple sli. You're better off with 2 780's with less problems.

The case is chunking your budget down. I suggest getting a cheaper one.

The samsung 840 pro's are not worth your time. They're good as scratch disks for editing but a single Samsung 840 250GB would save you money and won't make that much of difference.

That is an overly expensive card reader. You can probably get a cheaper one at $20-30.

Are you sure you need a bluray drive? Most people don't and you could probably go without.

Also, the fan controller. It is more effective using software as it is a hassle changing fan speeds.

with such a setup, it's a bit of a waste on a single 24" display. Why not a 27", 2x24", or 2x23"?

How come you haven't said a thing about my HDD?

The 840 Pro is a waste of money for your uses. The normal 840 is pretty much the same thing at a lower price.

The Seagate barracudas are good performance/capacity for dollar.

I'm just suggesting revisions for things I find unbalanced whether it's between each part or the amount of performance you're getting for your money.

Edit: Also, quote my posts so I get notified when you reply to me. I don't get notifications otherwise and I might never see your post.

and plus the 770 from MSI is a whole lot faster, at 1101 MHz, which is the Lightning model.

I can't seem to find benchmarks between the 770 lightning and the 780. Do you mind providing a link?

You're also talking about the 780 is slower when it's not overclocked compared to the oc'ed lightning, right? Isn't that an unrealistic comparison?

Edit: Frequency alone doesn't make the card faster. The only single card faster than the 780 is the titan.

The lighting 770 is factory overclocked.

The 780 ends up having far more overclocking headroom and is significantly faster.

ok then i will probably go for the gtx 680 even though it is 200 us dollars more. Also, are the fans ok ;or will i have to upgrade to something better, like the Corsair AF120?

and nobody answered this question in the beginning of the post: Is the PSU able to run triple SLI or is it overkill?

And plus, nobody still has a name for my build????

A triple 770 sli needs 1000w minimum and triple 780 needs 1200w.

If we're talking about triple 780's when overclocked, I would think so.

Otherwise, a 1000w+ psu should do fine for triple 770's.

For dual 770/780 sli, a good 800/850w will be plenty.

I don't know if i can support the AX1200i in my build because my budget is over by a lot and i do not want to remove anything else, so this is a really hard decision for me. 860i for less expansion or 1200i but more expensive. God, i do not want to screw up my decisions at all.

ok then since i have no room for a 3rd monitor, but i like to expand in the future and maybe put the computer somewhere more free so i may have room for a 3rd monitor, so i am also keeping that in mind since i want this to be a futureproof computer.
