Looking at putting together my first loop for a new workstation I'm building. My budget is around $450 USD (before tax/shipping)

The computer I have planned can be found here: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/227244-workstation-build/

The parts list is here: http://imgur.com/x3S4lJq,ZS93NqL#0

The loop layout is here: http://imgur.com/x3S4lJq,ZS93NqL#1

The stop fitting is for a drain port, and I just grabbed the extra barb to help with filling

1. So the first question is...am I missing? Is there anything that I need to buy?

2. What are your thoughts on the component selection in general? Is there anything I should swap out for maybe a better part?

3. Is there a better way to run the tubes that what I have in the image?

4. Can that EK tube res be turned upside down so I get more ports on the top rather than the bottom?

I'm new to water cooling, so any general thoughts would be appreciated!

I hope you realise you have a Cross flow rad there, one port at either end of it, not both at the same end as you've drawn out.

I would also suggest a couple of 45 degree compression fittings, just incase they make the runs alittle easier.

EK also sell a seperate multiport top for those res's, like this.

Other than that, looks ok to me. Just run the tubes as straight and naturally as possible.

Looks good to me. If there's no particular reason that you want the X-Flow EX360 there are some other options for the rad you could choose.

1. Normal EX360

2. EK PE 360 (should be cheaper, also a great rad)

3. Hardware Labs Black Ice GT Steath 360 (also great, might be cheaper)

Ah I forgot to change out the rad after drawing up that diagram

I think I might go with a slightly thicker rad - any recommendations for something 40+mm?

Also, Im thinking about getting the EK 250 tube res instead of the 150. Would 1L of coolant still be enough to fill the whole loop?

One more question:

On a pump+top like this: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/21014/ex-pmp-245/EK_D5_X-Top_Pump_Top_w_D5_Vario_Pump_-_Black_Acetal_EK-D5_Vario_X-TOP_incl_pump.html?tl=g30c107s1802&id=CRj8wheG&mv_pc=38545

There is 1 inlet and 2 outlets. Can I have 1 outlet going to a water block and the other outlet going out as a drain port at the same time? Obviously I won't run the pump to drain, it would just function as a regular drain just running straight from the pump. Is using both outlets like this possible?

For sure mate, not an issue there. Just make sure you have a stop plug in the drain tap, to ensure there is no leaks.

alright I've changed a few things around based on the suggestions here. New parts list: http://imgur.com/ARWmU7x

Any thoughts on things like the quality of the angled fittings I chose? Or whether the coolant is enough to fill the entire loop with the larger res?

And I just noticed that the cpu block says that narrow server type 2011 is not supported. I assume this it not an issue for and i7 5820k on an asus x99-a? Is there no backplate for 2011-3?
