What GPU do i buy?

So was going for a gtx 760, untill i heard that both the r9 280 and 285 totally fuck-stomp it in 1080p gaming (that what in gonna do), i im choosing between one of those, so the question is: will the wider memory bus and more memory of the 280 benefit more? or does the 285 perform better?

Not really, though they both outperform it. Get whichever one is the cheapest, they both perform very similarly.

The R9 285 will perform a bit better, but the difference is not that massive. Depends on the price you can get them, if there is not that much difference might as well go for the R9 285.

Also, the GTX 960 is rumoured to be launched within the next month or so waiting might not hurt.

they are all 250$ on amazon
