I am looking for the "best" gaming headset at 60/70 euro price range...Never used real headsets untill now (just earphones)...Wonder if there is any good analog 5.1 headset for that price (by analog i mean not virual 5.1) Thanks.

U dont want suround sound, nor do you want a headset.

Get some nice headphones and a cheap mic

get whichever addon mic that is in your price range, for the price this setup is close to unbeatable in terms of audio quality. ( at least hearing quality )

Well let's say it is one of the best in price/performane. I have the superlux 681 and it is really good. Better headphones start at above 100$.

I need it for fps games (like warface,cs go and few mores) where being able to hear footsteps with great quality equals win...Thats why i was looking for good headset that is not just stereo

I highly suggest you read the audio FAQ.

TLDR: surround sound doesn't make you hear foot steps better

But it makes you understand from where they come...Since more than one speaker each side is better than 1 only (which is stereo)

That's not really how it works with headphones. Again I suggest reading the audio FAQ.

Sounds pretty much the same as the other topic. Well, in that case, get a Razer Tiamat 7.1.

- Is it 'true' multiple drivers? Yes

- Does it sound good? Nope, not even close to being considered as 'good'

- Is it good built? Again, nope, compared to middle end stereo headphones in the same price level

- Will it make you perform better compared to other players using stereo headphone? Depend on the players, but most probably, no

- Is it anyway better than a real stereo headphone in the same price level? None that I can think of

- Then why is it recommended? Because you wouldn't listen to the others

Explain me why they even make 5.1 and 7.1 headsets with more speakers? I am not sarcastic,i can't understand why they build them if they perform as stereo ones.

I think i will get the 668B ones.Anyway, the cable is resistant? Since all earphones i had they always lost contact in the cable near jack.

Honest answer? Because people like you keep thinking more is better for some reason.

Looks good on paper, sells good on the market. Also marketing magic. Same as how Beats sells good on the market while at the same time worse than almost any real audio headphones in the same price level.

Hey, don't let us tell you what to do. You wanna go with the almighty 'true' multiple-drivers, go ahead. It's your money anyway....
