Get the regular Samsung 840 250GB SSD. The Pro is only really useful as a scratch disk for editing. Otherwise, it's pretty much the same as the regular 840.

2133 is a waste of money for little to no performance boost. Stick with the cheaper 1600 alternative.

the motherboard is a costly one. for haswell cpus, there are voltage regulators in the processor that helps even out overclocking among all motherboards. What I mean is pretty much any z87 board will do unless you're doing crazy overclocks. The h100i won't be enough for any of these overclocks so the motherboard would be a waste of money unless you dedicated to some serious watercooling.

Psu is overkill. A 650w will leave PLENTY of room to overclock.

Also reason im going with the Maximus VI Hero is im doing a Red/Black themed build and I like the look of it and the layout and features of the board. Also with the H100i even with overclocks I can achieve I know there is loads of headroom with the basic overclock I will go with but the point of that is I am going to run my fans silently and it gets quite hot in summer where I live especially when I take my rig out to a farm where me and a few friends in my area hold lans. Gets up to 40C+ Degrees. Also with this Im always changing my mind and I do often go back to the whats best for my money but the reason im investing in this new rig is I always get to the point where im like am i really happy with my rig? and also its noisy as hell at times and i know i could get silenter fans but to me my whole rig at the moment is all over the shop and im starting fresh. But anyways thanks for the replies. Also think ill get the 840 250GB as its around $80 cheaper and knowing me ill likely replace it easily within the next 2-3 years when 1TB class SSD's become more affordable so i can put my games on it.

You could go with ivy + z77a-g45 gaming instead for the red/black.

Also, a caviar blue/barracuda drive would save money.

With the money saved, you could bump up to a 500gig ssd.

Yep the new Asus colour schemes are killing me.  I am thinking a Gene or Hero to get something that looks decent.  Toying with the idea of stepping back to Z77 and getting a Formula for the same price as a Hero.  Of course I guess I could go a different brand but I just picked up a GTX670 DC2 OC for $299 and wanted to keep the theme going.

As for cooler the H220 from swiftech appears to outperform the other AIO's.  And it can be added to in the future due to removable hoses and fill port on rad.

Yeah im in the same camp due to ASUS GPU so that was a reason for going ASUS and that the build quality compared to my msi products seemed better slightly. Also was thinking about the H220 but im just gonna stay with the H100i as im not gonna bother expanding the loop in this system might get a H220 if i do another system in the future.
