Does the 860K use FM2 or FM2+ ? I was asking since I have a FM2 Board and was wondering if I could use it

srry i blanked i would reccomend if you were to get a new mobo that you get an fx processor with 8 cores

I already own the MOBO, I was just wondering because then I could say I have an upgrade path, I very short one but still a path.

yes but that path is not a good one there are very small cpu improvements mainly graphics if you were to improve on tat i would heither go z97 or fx 990 chipset

It was more of a joke upgrade path, since it has no iGPU which like you said is main improvements on Kaveri

Going with a R9 280(X) because it is the same price as a 270 or I will wait for 770 to cost less.
