shadow play audio..... PLEASE HELP

Go to solution Solved by UrbanTurban,

so I fixed this but in a very strange way. Without trying. I recently bought Astra A40's and when I set everything up with my amp etc it works now?? strange yes but yey :)

Need help real bad guys, I am soo frustrated with this..... Please....

This happened out of the blue after it working fine for months. My shadow play has inconsistent audio recording. when I first turn on shadow play it records audio...

after a few minutes it just decides 'no more audio for you' if I turn it off and back on again it does the same!

im really at my wits end with this it is seriously depressing :') Im missing out on documenting some real fun times...

Thanks

What kind of audio setup are you using?

What software and drivers? Realtek? Mic in? USB mic?

Have you tried disabling and reenabling "record mic+system" audio config button?

Also have you restarted your system or updated GPU drivers?

Asus Xonar sound card (drivers up to date)

USB mic

and yes, multiple times. that works in the same way as turning shadow play off and on again. I can record footage, voice and game for about 2 minutes. then as time goes on only video is being recorded...

ive messed around with sound mixer

My Gpu is up to date... I really don't know what to try next... I've looked everywhere for a solution..

And my system has been restarted many times. I've had this problem for the past few weeks :(

I have found a somewhat 'half fix' which I am very happy about. I have turned off    'allow desktop capture' ..in Preferences/shadow play and my in game audio is working perfectly!  it will have to do FOR NOW... maybe the next GPU update will fix it... who knowsss.

I hope this helps somebody :)

edit not fixed.
