SLI GTX 970

Hey all, I am planning on adding a SLI EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked ACX Video Card. Do I need anything to connect them or does it come with it? So two GTX 970... Do I need anything to connect them?

Should've come with your motherboard if it's SLI compatible.

 

Any SLI bridge will work.

Only AMD cards come with CrossfireX bridges. Nvidia never do.

EVGA sell a pretty cool one with LEDs, as do Nvidia. Other than that, you can buy them off Amazon and eBay for cheap. Any SLI bridge will work.

Does the Gigabyte GA-Z97MX-Gaming 5 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard come with one or the GTX 970?

They all do the exact same thing. Any difference is purely cosmetic.

NV cards never come with SLi bridges. They will come with SLi compatible motherboards.

nvidia just started selling theirs not too long ago, im gonna grab one myself cause im over the flimsy ROG one that came with my hero board

Another thing you may want to consider is going with the blower style cooler over the ACX open air. Running cards in SLI can get kind of toasty. Just a thought. Good Luck.
