Keyboard Problems, getting very frustrated!

Hello guys. I have been having this issues for a while and i am not finding a proper solution. A month or two ago i started noticing my number one key on my numpad stopped working, i tried rebooting it and it wouldn't work. i thought it was a dead switch on my CM Storm Trigger (Blues). so i went to my local computer store and got it replaced with the new K70 RGB. i finally got it set up and after a few hours it started again. However, when i reboot and the software and profiles start up, the number one key starts working again. and after a couple of hours it stops again.

 

I tried firmware updates, different USB ports, USB 3 ports, the windows key+space trick, re-installing drivers. What the really weird thing is that the onscreen keyboard does the same thing, so it has to be a software bug somewhere, if anybody could help me find some options on how to fix this it would be more than happy. My specs are in my profile.

Try reinstalling windows?

Scan for viruses?

Reinstall windows and all your problems will  go away

 

How long has it been since your last clean install? You should be doing a clean install every 6-24 months to keep windows running properly.

No viruses with Bitdefender,  clean install was when i built this rig in January. I believe my roommate threw out my windows install disk, any ideas?
