It's good, but why not get a GTX 970 instead of the GTX 780 (unless the 780 costs substantially less)?

Nope, but unless the price difference between the 780/970 is too large for your budget, get a 970. Other then that, seems good. We appreciate if you use PCPartPicker though :P

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

i just dont get it why everyone choose i5-4690k insted of Xeon E3 1231 v3

Because it's overclockable? Some improved compatibility. Those are the only "valid" reasons I can think of.

i need 16gb for video editing, and the 970 is sold out everywhere

I would get the gigabyte 970 instead of the 780. Also for the ssd, you should get the mx100.

why?

Because not everyone wants a locked Xeon. Some people like the overclocking series CPUs, even if a 4690K inherently performs worse than a Xeon.

Better value for both of the components.

yea, i choose 780 cuz 970 is sold out everywhere, and because of demand the gigabyte 970 has gone all the way up to 450$

in my opinion its not worth it you want to OC you need AM cooler so i5 + AM is way more expensive than xeon

Edit: if you take xeon you will save alot of money because you can take h97 mobo instead of Z87 or Z97 . so with money saved on mobo and AM cooler you can get better GPU

No, on amazon it is $450 because amazon is out of stock so they show a third party websites price, which is more expenseive. Amazon still sells it for $370. But if you can get a 780 for a good price, I would get it.

Gigabyte windforce is 330$ for the Ghz Edition, pretty good deal if you ask me
