I have a d5 vario/ ek x-res 140, decoupled with uni holder etc. and I would like to know what pump speed I should run at to optimize silence in this rig. I have a ek supremacy cpu block + 2x ek 290x blocks along with two rx480 480mm radiators, 1x 240mm alphacool st30 radiator and 1x 360mm alphacool st30 radiator. only other points of restriction really are seven 90 degree fittings. I am running ap-13 fans with this, i know its a BIG loop and I am running it inside the 900d what speed do you folks think would be the sweet spot to optimize silence without crippling performance?

test them out there is no sure answer i would do 3-4 though and just set them at different speeds and decide which one you like the most

I guess what I am worried about is since it is such a big loop my only option besides getting another pump would be to run at max speed do you think that is my reality? thanks for the advice

yea your loop is huge i might up it to 4 and if thats not enough then you could do a second one and set them both at like 3

what are your temps anyway with that many rads you almost dont need to run fans

I would probably sit it around 2-4 mark. Then see how the temps sit and adjust accordingly.

hahaha that would be nice but I already bought  all the fans, I forgot to mention its 8 ap13s 3 ap15s and 2 eloops, with an rx360 and one st30 240mm my temps were pretty good( with 2 noiseblocker eloops and 3 gt ap15s) but I have to bump the voltage quite a bit on my 4770k to achieve stable clocks, I dont have any numbers off hand but the temps did get fairly hot while gaming if I didnt change the fan speed.
