help! new computer, help

OK, thanks guys! That actually worked! I guquote name="OriginalPromise" post="3088107" timestamp="1412127675"]Try what @Hendrics suggested. Judging from your specs, I see that everything should be compatible with the RAM speed.

Either there is something wrong with the RAM or your BIOS settings.

OK, thanks guys! That actually worked! I guess some dust was in it or something, well thanks a lot because i was freaking out!

Now, do you think I can overclock the ram? I have ram cooling fans but they are currently not installed. And once again thank you

I wouldn't overclock the RAM if I were you. It's already pretty darn fast. What kind of applications do you run anyways?

Also, you should start a new thread if you're going to ask about overclocking as your troubleshooting is now complete.

Click the "mark solved button" on the person who you think helped the most and start a new thread.
