Well I currently own this pc:

CPU: AMD PHENOM II X6 1055T
MOTHERBOARD: Asus Something, not a bad motherboard
RAM: 8GB 1333 MHZ
GPU: Asus EAH6850 1GB GDDR5
HDD: COMPLETE SHIT WITH 7 YEARS OLD OR EVEN MORE
 

AVG FPS on CSGO map: 140-180 FPS..


AND IM PLANING TO UPGRADE TO:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) 6MB BOX
MOTHERBOARD: Msi H97 Gaming 3 Intel H97 SK1150
RAM: 8GB 1333 MHZ
GPU:  Asus EAH6850 1GB GDDR5
SSD: Kingston HyperX 3K SSD 2.5 SATA III 120GB

 

What I want to know is if this UPGRADE will give me MORE FPS and if its WORTH IT to upgrade! :)

well you'd probably be gpu bound in either situation. overclock your phenom. but a new gpu and an SSD.

No. Stay with this PC and buy SSD or new GPU. Changing CPU and mobo will not increase FPS that much.

Why 1333mhz? It was ddr3's first stock speed. At least get 1600mhz. There is almost no difference in prices.

Why 1333mhz? It was ddr3's first stock speed. At least get 1600mhz. There is almost no difference in prices.

im keeping my ram's and gpu :)

i just want to know if i should do this upgrade or rather OC this cpu and buy a better gpu ?

well you'd probably be gpu bound in either situation. overclock your phenom. but a new gpu and an SSD.

so would be good to get a cooler for the CPU and buy a good GPU?

and my problem is, i only do play csgo, wich is a heavy processor game, im the guy who only plays that.. so the i5 would give me a better performance ?

at the moment i want a new motherboard and cpu, budget? 400 € +/- if 420€ or something like i will buy anyways

If that is the only game you play, your system probably already performs just fine. I have not played GO personally, only Source, pretty sure they use the same engine though.

if i would overclock my cpu to like 4.0ghz or more (if its possible) with a good cooler would help alot right ?
