Rampage V Gene

Unfortunately this is just a mockup, various Asus reps have confirmed that there are currently no plans for a Rampage V Gene 

 

Raja has said over on the OCN forums that if there is enough demand they'll make one though 

 

The current selection of mATX X99 boards are pretty lackluster, I think if Asus came out with something like the mockup they would sell like hotcakes. What do you think?

 

 

My wishlist (assuming all the standard ROG features from the other current boards is included)

• Allow x16 / x4 / x8 lane configuration with the 5820K (if at all possible)
• Allow x16 / x8 / x16 lane configuration with the 5930K/5960X
• Bundled USB 3.0 right-angle adapter
• low-profile front panel header extension (so a video card in the bottom slot doesn't put pressure on the front panel connectors)
• PCIe 3.0 x4 for the M.2 slot (or at least x2)
• All PWM capable fan headers
• Intel AC Wireless
• Thermal armor option

Come on ASUS, your competitors are selling MATX X99 mobos, BUILD ONE, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I ended up getting the EVGA X99 Micro and then the Gigabyte X99M Gaming 5 but both have their deficiencies and I'd still really like an Asus option.
