So I am building a pc and I am 99% sure that this would work but my father wants to make sure it will as I am 13 and he may be uncertain that I know what i am doing.

.Gigabyte AMD Radeon R9 280 WindForce 3X OC 3GB Video Card

.Intel Pentium G3258 Dual Core LGA 1150 3.2GHz Unlocked CPU Processor

.Corsair CX500M 500W Modular Bronze Power Supply

.Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 1600MHz Memory Blue HX316C10FK2/8

.MSI Z97 PC MATE Intel LGA 1150 ATX Motherboard

.NZXT Phantom 410 Mid Tower Case Black

.Microsoft Windows 8.1 64bit DVD OEM

.Seagate ST1000DX001 1TB Desktop SSHD 3.5” Hybrid SATA3 Hard Drive

.Corsair Hydro Series H60 SE Liquid CPU Cooler

I am in Australia and this would cost about $1100.

Thanks!

Yep your all set. Even for the next 5th gen Intel processors. The Z97 will support the 5th gen (if you didn't know.) I'm not sure on the length of the 280 because I have a Nvidia graphics card and font focus on amd as a whole. If the card is too long you will have to remove a hard drive bay from the 410.

For that CPU I'd recommend an h100i or h110 just because your going to want to overclock it fairly high (I would think).

And for the same reason, an 80+gold power supply.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Everything in the build is compatible. I would suggest some changes that should improve performance.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
