Because if he is not going to OC then it is a lot better option since the price difference is small and you dont need Z97 for XEON so that will get price on the same level or even lower as if you went with i5.

Doesent Xeons include stock cooler? I mean they come in a box like any i5 or i7 big enough to carry stock cooler.

yeah, but i would still recommend a cooler, as it can get extremly loud on hot days . Just buy a cheap bequit! CPU cooler for around 40$.

The one thing that I always forget about is the CPU Cooler. But thanks guys for the suggestions! Appreciate it.
